A brief history
Starting with a dream and a lot of hard work, we opened our doors in 2017 with a vision to create a welcoming space for everyone. Over the years, we’ve adapted, expanded, and innovated, always with our community at heart.
Whether it’s hosting pop-up restaurant nights, embarking on major refurbishments, or weathering challenges like the Covid pandemic, our story is defined by determination and progress.
Our dream of opening a café began to take shape. We scouted locations, refined our concept, and laid the foundation for something special.
2016
In May, we officially opened the café, welcoming our first customers and introducing our vision to the community.
2017
We hosted our first pop-up restaurant nights, showcasing creative menus and building excitement around our special food.
2018
Expanded into outside catering, partnering with Vattenfall and Orsted windfarms to provide quality meals for their teams.
2019
Covid hit, challenging us like never before. Takeaway options and our windfarm catering contracts helped us survive the uncertainty.
2020
A major milestone: we bought the building, securing a permanent home for the café and giving us the freedom to grow.
2020
Embarked on a significant refurbishment project.
We knocked down walls, replaced windows, and transformed the upstairs café area into a vibrant, welcoming space.
2021
Reopened with a refreshed interior and new features, including an updated menu to complement the new look.
2021
Extended our pop-up restaurant nights from one weekend per month to two, doubling the opportunity for guests to experience our special evenings.
2022
Invested in critical updates to the building, including a new roof and staircase, enhancing the safety and charm of the space.
2023
Introduced a new loyalty program to thank our customers for their ongoing support and encourage more visits.
2024
Said goodbye to our partnership with Orsted, allowing us to refocus entirely on growing the café and its offerings.
2024
Started the year by preparing for an exciting future, focusing on refining our menu, planning new events, and setting ambitious goals for the café's continued growth.
